Educators start the equity zine by sharing what equity means to them in an embodied way: what does it look like, feel like, sound like? We often hear reflection about laughter and talking as sounds, joy and comfort as feelings.

By making their conceptions of equity explicit, we hope educators can examine their design decisions by questioning assumptions, sharing strategies, and brainstorming with colleagues to challenge their design decisions and practices.
